Let's Cry !!!

Let's Cry!!!

Let's cry
From all the fronts, from all sides .
Because they fear.
Our cry becomes dangerous
For their conspiracy they hatch .
And our silence encourages
These killers to kill more,
To inflict more pain,
To celebrate our poverty, mourning and helplessness.
Whenever we stop crying.
They start raining with
Bombs, bullets, and poisonous designs.
In complete madness, they take
To shooting , to bombing , to maiming  and then to torching us.
This makes us silent forever.

See in Iraq, what they did.
See in Egypt, what they are doing.
See everywhere; all around you
These monsters quenching their thirst
With the blood of innocent people.
They wear smile on their lips.
They seem friends.
But stab always on the back
They are the real man eaters on earth
Because they have no respect for women.
No love for children.
They are shameless.

I ask : how long will we be silent spectators ?
How long will we allow them to kill our people?
How long will we overlook their misdeeds ?
How long will we wait for retort?
How long will we see innocent lives on the gallows?
How long will we take to unite and fight these tyrants?

I must say: Let's cry
Let's cry... Let's cry...
Till they are scared to death.
Till everyone have enough to live.
Till everyone sleep happily. __________Sohrab Alam Ansari

LOVE IN THE NATURE

                                         LOVE IN THE NATURE

She spread her locks the night
Her face was beaming with light
She was sitting on my right
Our hugging in the dark was very tight

Her contour of body I felt
To kiss her on forehead I knelt
I found my lips to be at  melt
Her cloth entangled into my belt

The Sun was about to go down
We forgot if it was dusk or dawn
Our love not at stop; it was on
A chain of light was coming from the town

 The wind was blowing slowly
She was kissing me softly
I was counting her hair knowingly
Seeing us, birds chirped happily

We were playing an unknown game
This was like trying a wild animal to tame
We both were warming ourselves in love's flame
At the dead of the night we came

Unforgotten Love

The whole society was against me
Because she was in love with me
She had to bear much pain because of me
Her relatives were pouring anger on me

She was rich but I was poor
She was from higher caste but I was from lower
Her parents were mad in much anger
My parents were always very somber

Many a time I got threat; on the road, in the house and on the street
They told me this mistake not to repeat
Every time I suffered a rapid heartbeat
My letters were opened and crushed under their feet

My heart was dreaming about her
The very time my father told me to forget her
I was silent and also my mother
From my eyes were trickling down warm tear

One by one the letters were torn and put on fire
I was screaming and crying with much ire
I was going to lose all my desire
They were giggling and creating  satire

I stopped eating for days
I lost each and every hope's rays
I had lost all my courage
I was tied and put into the cage

The cage made my life sorrowful
This was a jail which was painful
She was sent to Liverpool
She was far away but not forgetful

My imprisonment ended; I came out
My parents were forced to leave the village out
An old man gave me their whereabouts
With much difficulties I found them out

My mother was cooking on the road side
My father was suffering typhoid
Seeing them in such condition I cried
Till the time she had become someone’s bride

An orphan

Mother, why you left me alone
Before you, father had gone
I am  not much grown
There is much pain in my bone

People laugh at me and make my fun
Because I am an orphan

I come home every day at night
I feel  everywhere your sight
While begging on the road at night
Dogs come near me to bite

With much fright I start to run
Because I am an orphan

Here everybody avoids me
My pant is torn and above knee
I put my life at stake even for a single penny
Even when the weather is cloudy, rainy or sunny

I get slaps and scolds from everyone
Because I am an orphan

Since your demise I am here
In dilapidated house, on the road without anyone's care
Much pain I get inflicted and try to bear
In the chilling cold I have nothing to wear

I go out and bring some twigs to burn
Because I am an orphan

Mother, you cooked for me daily
we ate a little but slept happily
Every morning you woke up very early
To make my future bright you worked honestly

For many a day I am hungry and speak none
Because I am an orphan

Now my body is weak , I have hunger
I feel much pain even in my slumber
Everyone has closed their door, even our neighbour
They are perhaps eating chocolates of different flavor

Into my room doesn't  peer even the Sun
Because I am an orphan
Because I am an orphan ...

A Woman's woe

My father was sad when I was born
I was a new entrant into the family unknown
My grandma was shouting at my mother at high tone
Dreams of my father seemed blown

My mother was always in tear
I kept clinging to her in great fear
She bathed me, dressed me, an oiled my hair
On her part she was totally fair

My father never loved me at all
Because I was a girl after all
I was kept confined inside the four walls
I was never allowed a stroll

One day I said, mother, I want to play
She told me to go but to come without delay
With my tiny hands I made two dolls out of clay
And then to dry them in the sun I had to lay

In a day or two they became hard
They looked standing like guard
With great joy I declared
Hearing it my father beat me hard

I wept, wept and wept in the room
Where my brother was crushing mushroom
To clean, my father gave him a broom
My father kept on working on loom

I wept inside till the dead of the night
My mother came happily and told me to fight
She said the time has come to gain liberty and right
Our time has come to lead the world with pride
Now the cruel father was in much fright

The freedom of India at threshold

As a child I remember
When whole country was united strong like timber
Fighting the Coloniser many lost their family member
My mother passed many nights without a slumber
I used to ask when is our number

My mother said we are fighting for freedom
We will build a beautiful India with our wisdom
Where everyone will get justice at random
Slavery will not make our life boredom
I used to ask when the time will come

The year I remember was nineteen forty seven
The celebration was from earth to heaven
In the streets, on the roads i saw huging eachother brethren
My mother was busy in distributing sweet to make life sweeten
I asked, mother, will you now not beaten?

Years after years passed in turmoil
Violence, killing, rape continued without fail
The criminals were caught but freed on bail
There were only the poor in jail
I asked , mother, is the government on criminals' trail?

By now my mother has become very old
She got beaten, tortured and robbed of her gold
She cried bitterly and told the untold
I don't find our India, it is sold
Sleep son before you are cold
